Chis Boïcos director of Chris Boïcos Fine Arts in Paris and Paxos and professor of Art History at the Univerisy of Southern California Paris department will be presenting Debussy’s connection with the art of his time and his tastes in painting. We will also examine how art of the late 19th century aspired to come closer to music by eliminating Realism and emphasizing color, mood and pattern as a way of approaching the evocative nature and abstract components of musical composition.
