In 2017, the young ensemble “Duo Minerva” won the 16th Fidelio Chamber Music Competition of the City of Vienna as well as the scholarship for the promotion of young artists. As of 2023, the ensemble is part of the sponsorship program of the renowned Club Classic – Vienna Music Society. In 2024, the young duo was selected for Sounds of Servus as well as for the New Austrian Sound of Music. Duo Minerva can now be heard around the globe as Austrian cultural ambassadors with their new program Hymne à l’amour.

Borders between genres are utterly foreign to this duo, it seems, and lingering in the same musical position is inconceivable. Clarinetist Johanna Gossner from Tyrol and accordionist Damian Keller from Vorarlberg demonstrate how deviating from musical traditions can lead to something new and exciting through this lovely new program. They create an artful crossover sound based on classical music, world, jazz, and avant-garde and develop its distinct character. The masterpieces arranged by the duo with great finesse and a good portion of wit undergo a marvelous revival – in a hitherto innovative manner in a program not to be missed.
