Paxos Festival

Festival 2026 intro

Dear friends,

We are pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 summer season of the Paxos Festival on Thursday 18 June with the painting exhibtion “Wellness / Ευεξία” organised by Image Publications of Corfu and curated by Elvira Metallinou, featuring 26 Greek and international artists at the Old School of Loggos.

This year’s list of events of the 40th Paxos summer festival, includes this year’s Irish Wings concert on Sunday 5 July, with a star cast of musicians from Ireland, Athens and Paxos.

We are proud to be included in the Austrian-Greek Summer 2026 series of events for one more year, presenting a surprising trio combination of strings, when bouzouki meets classical… on July 12th.

We are honored to feature a production of the National Opera of Greece on July 22nd combining film and live performance by National Opera singers with piano accompaniment.

On the 25th of August, oboist, Christos Tsogias Razakov returns on the Paxos Festival stage to present a special Paxos program dedicated to Pan, an ancient God connected to the island of Paxos, guiding us with a stunning virtuoso oboe performance through Pan’s Myth.

Our Fireflies part of the Paxos Festival returns on the 40th year of our Festival’s life to feature two young Paxos artists, in the verge of launching their music carriers concluding this year’s program.

Your donations to the Friends of Paxos who sponsor and finance the musical events of the Paxos festival are greatly appreciated as we receive no public or municipal funding.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information on any of the FOP events.

With our best regards,

Faye Lychnou, Chris Boïcos
