A Dialogue Across Strings
The Vienna-based Duo Basili Kosovinc, featuring internationally acclaimed artists Cristina Basili (cello) and Timotej Kosovinc (guitar), joins forces with renowned Greek bouzouki virtuoso Nikos Tatasopoulos for a unique musical encounter that bridges classical refinement and Mediterranean spirit.
The program opens with the lyrical charm of Classical Viennese works for cello and guitar, evoking the city’s rich musical heritage. Gradually, the journey moves southward, blending traditions and colors, and culminates in original compositions by Tatasopoulos, where the expressive voice of the bouzouki meets the warmth of cello and guitar.
