Damian Keller is an Austrian accordionist, music educator and music teacher.
He is active both as a soloist and an energetic chamber musician in a number of ensembles of different styles. At the Voralberg State Conservatory, Damian studied with Goran Kovasevic in a special program for musically gifted students. To advance his artistic education, he moved to the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna to study with Grzegorz Stopa, where he graduated with honors in 2023. To complement his artistic training he took master classes with Inaki Alberdi, Song Na, Stefan Hussong, Frank Marocco, Mikael Augustson and Andreas Nebi among others. In addition to Damian’s particular passion for tango, his solo repertoire includes baroque, classical and contemporary music. Collaborating with young composers and premiering new works and concepts is a priority for Damian. He has won numerous competitions both in Austria and abroad. He has recently performed as a soloist and chamber music member at Vienna Musikveerein, the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, the Hamburg Opera as well as in various productions with the Camerata Musica Reno orchestra and the Walkstanztheater. In addition to his artistic activities, Damian passes on his knowledge of the accordion as a music teacher. As of autumn 2024, Damian Keller is a lecturer at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna.
