Efterpi Lychnou was born in Paxos, where she still lives and works. She has studied Greek Literature and worked as a teacher, acting as vice principal at the Paxos High School for two years. She also has post graduate degrees in School Psychology and Learning Difficulties and Creative Writing. Since 2020 she has been seconded to the Paxos Archives while also following a postgraduate course at the History Department of the Ionian University on the subject of ‘Historical Research, Teaching and New Technology’. The fruits of her historical research as well as her written works have been published in print, newspapers, co-publications and online periodicals. Efterpi also volunteers in a variety of clubs and organisations which are involved with cultural, artistic and athletic activities.
