Eftychia Giannakakou is a promising Greek mezzo-soprano/alto. Born in 2001 in Athens, with roots in Paxos, she began her musical journey at a young age. Her first step was joining the Children’s Choir of the Greek National Opera in 2012. From 2012 to 2016, she performed in operas such as *Tosca*, *Werther*, *La Bohème*, *The Cunning Little Vixen*, *Carmen*, *The Murderess*, and others.
She then studied in Mata Katsouli’s solo voice class at the Athenaeum Conservatory. She has distinguished herself in concerts featuring classical arias (such as those from Mozart’s *The Marriage of Figaro*) and through her participation in musical ensembles and choirs such as Corpus Animae.
She has performed at iconic venues in Athens, such as the “Parnassos” Literary Society and the Music Library of the Athens Concert Hall.
She received her diploma in January 2026 as a mezzo-soprano.
