A special program for voice and piano dedicated to the two-hundredth anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821; Combination of songs among which we will enjoy Louis Emmanuel Jadin’s “La veuve du Grec Botsaris a l’autel de Marie” and Charles Gounod’s “Vierge d’Athènes” along with songs by Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann, Piotr Ilits Tchaikovsky, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, but also well known to Greeks songs by EmiliosRiadis, Nikos Skalkotas, Yannis Konstantinidis: an evening of sheer pleasure!
