On July 30th director and actor, Konstantinos Dellas presents us with his latest theater play creation, deriving from his deep love of Greek traditions. His play, “the Old women picking the nettles” is a theater play constantly evolving, uniting the past with today through the most incredible performances by three young men, who managed to become the talk of the Athens theater life last winter season.
On September 8th two Corfiot artists will honor us with their performance on stage. Soprano Georgia Tryfona and pianist Sotiris Louizos will present a program of works by women composers of the recent past, reminding us how difficult it still is to be a woman artist in our World of today.
On September 11th Duo B!z Art, a duet of pianists from Belgium will come on stage to invite us in a program full of humor, joy and a strong will to dance.
Our 2025 Festival will end on September 26th with the prize winner Spanish cellist Amarilis Duenas Castan, who with mezzo soprano, Julia Kurig Yazaki will show us how a medieval string instrument cooperates wonderfully well with the human voice in original and improvising interpretations of a unique selection of works.
We invite you to follow our posts on the Festival’s Social Media as we are planning more art events with significant social and local interest and quite a special artistic value.
We hope to see you in our wonderful Loggos Old School Yard to enjoy together this summer’s artistic events aiming to offer a special flair to the summer on Paxos.
