We are proud to announce that DIDIMANES (TWIN MOTHERS), a Paxos Festival music production is officially part of the Educational and Community Projects of the Alternative Stage of the NATIONAL OPERA OF GREECE for 2018.

“DIDIMANES” music performance after being premiered on Paxos Festival 2015 stage, after being performed in the Ionian Academy in April 2016 in cooperation with the Phonetic and Music Ensemble of the Music Studies Department of the Ionian University (under the guidance of professor Miranda Kaldi), after being recorded and made into a cd in 2017, it is now part becoming part of the 2018 Educational and Community Projects’ Program of the National Opera.

It will be performed with completely new musicians and singers on the 24th and 25th of May 2018 at the Alternative Stage of the brand new Greek National Opera House “Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center” (SNFCC) www.nationalopera.gr

This new performance will derive as a result of an intensive workshop procedure during which musicians of all ages, amateur musicians and singers, music students and professionals will participate in a set of workshop rehearsals. There will be an open call of interest for performers by February 2018 and auditions will take place March 31st 2018.
