ATOROQO – Ten Omens for the End of Time

DIMITRA TRYPANI

“ATOROQO – Ten Omens for the End of Time”

27 January 2018, 20:30 @ Technopolis Amphitheatre, Gazi, Athens

“Friends of Paxos” Non Profit Association and Paxos Festival proudly present a new work by Dimitra Trypani, which will premier in Athens on 27 January 2018 at the Amphitheatre of Technopolis, Gazi. Atoroqo is an interdisciplinary 45-minute performance for string quartet, percussion and live projection feed.
A few words on the performance:
Atoroqo is the Mycenaean Linear Β word for human. The performance is an audio-visual journey in a “dreamland”, where fragments of music, texts and images intertwine to shape a series of signs – omens? – for the future of the human species. Atoroqo is a sincere comment on the turbulence we currently experience in all aspects of our existence.
[*After the performance there will be a Q&A session with the audience.]
